Before you book
How much does each treatment cost?
Hair washing £30, hair styling £20, lock retightening £60 per hour, hair replacement caps from £50 and lock installations from £400. For the last two, the final price depends on your hair and the option you choose — we confirm it at consultation, before any work begins.
Why is retightening priced per hour?
Because the time genuinely depends on how many locs you have and how much new growth there is. Charging by the hour means you pay for the time your hair needs and nothing more. Send a photo when you book and we will estimate honestly.
How long will my appointment take?
Washing is around 45 minutes and styling 30–45 minutes. Retightening depends on your locs. Lock installations are a full appointment, so please allow the day.
Do I need a consultation first?
For hair replacement caps and lock installations, yes — that is where we agree the plan and confirm the price. For washing, styling and retightening you can book straight in.
What if I need to cancel?
Please give us as much notice as you can, and at least 48 hours where possible. Lock installations block out a full day, so late cancellations are especially hard for us to fill.
Do you have access requirements covered?
Tell us what you need when you book and we will do everything we can. Longer appointment times are available at no extra charge, and aftercare guidance can be provided in large print, plain text or audio.
